Grade 8's were given the task to create their own stop-frame animations based on a chosen issue. 8CHo chose anti racism as a theme and this animation was created by Ashley and Shenna.
This animation is by Ming also from 8CHO also with the theme of racism. This animation was created using sand, with a great message of peace and harmony.

Grade 8 Sculptures
The grade 8's were given the task to use nature as inspiration for a three dimensional sculpture. Some of the results are very obviously organic while others are more abstract and have lucid themes. They were assessed on how well they could manipulate basic materials such as newspaper, wire and glue to create three dimensional form. some of the results were very impressive. They were influenced by the glass sculptor Dale Chihuly and the Land Artist Andy Goldsworthy.
